Things To Know Before You Go

Traveling to Japan with your pet will be a bit of a process. Your dog will need to be microchipped, have an import permit, be cleared through quarantine and customs and have been vaccinated for rabies before crossing the border. Additionally, they will need to have a rabies blood test 180 days before entry. Your pet will have to quarantine for around 4 hours upon arrival in Japan.
