Hawaii:

Begin preparations 6 months in advance.  Hawaii requires a Titer Blood Test and a waiting period of 6 months after this test is completed.
Microchip dated prior to two Rabies Vaccinations 30 days apart and most recent 90 days prior to transport.   We can fly your pet into Honolulu (HNL) and we have a colleague who can assist you upon arrival.

Australia – regulations for 2014:

Begin preparations 190 days in advance of your travel date. The waiting period begins the day the Blood is drawn for the Titer Blood Test. 190 days total — 180 prior to transport and ONLY 10 days in Quarantine upon arrival in Sydney, Perth or Melbourne. Apply for Import Permit when Titer Test Results are available.

New Zealand:

Begin preparations 180 days in advance of travel date. The waiting period begins the day the Blood is drawn for the Titer Blood Test. 180 days total — 150 prior to transport and 30 days in Quarantine upon arrival in Auckland. Apply for Import Permit when Titer Test Results are available.

London Heathrow

New regulations for the United Kingdom. No more Quarantine and No Titer Blood testing 6 months prior to transport.
Don’t forget the Tapeworm treatment within 5 days of travel.

Brazil

Going to Rio de Janeiro? Preparations are pretty simple. Microchip Implant dated prior to Rabies Vaccination and Health Documents issued within 10 days of travel. USDA Endorsement is Required!!

Sweden

Microchip Implant dated prior to Rabies Vaccination and Health Documents issued within 10 days of travel. USDA Endorsement is Required!! Don’t forget the Tapeworm treatment within 5 days of travel. And additional Health Check within 24 hours of transport.

Qatar

Import permit required. Microchip Implant dated prior to Rabies Vaccination + Full Vaccinations. Health Documents issued within 10 days. USDA Endorsement is Required

Norway

Microchip Implant dated prior to Rabies Vaccination and Health Documents issued within 10 days of travel. USDA Endorsement is Required!! Don’t forget the Tapeworm treatment within 5 days of travel. And additional Health Check within 24 hours of transport.

Saudi Arabia

Import permit required. Microchip Implant dated prior to Rabies Vaccination + Full Vaccinations. Health Documents issued within 10 days. USDA and Saudi Embassy Endorsements are Required. Documents must also be submitted to State Department in Washington DC. Saudi Arabia requirements only accept working dogs {watch dogs, seeing-eye-dogs, hunting dogs…}

Denmark

Microchip Implant dated prior to Rabies Vaccination + Full Vaccinations. Health Documents issued within 10 days of travel. USDA Endorsement is Required!
