balboa parkWe know you don’t always get to choose where to live, but what if you could? You would choose a dog friendly city right? Relocating your dog to a new city can be more exciting if the city is super dog friendly. And if the city is super dog friendly, you might want to go visit on vacation too. This week we take a look at the amenities that San Diego has to offer our pooches.

There are 14 off leash dog parks and 2 off leash beaches in San Diego where dogs are allowed at all times. In addition, many other parks allow dogs on leash before 9am and after 6pm. City Park Rangers and park users ask that dog owners pick up after their dogs, and “leave only paw prints behind.”

Dogs are allowed on Fiesta Island and Dog Beach off leash at any time during park hours.
